Who may buy from us
We supply orthodontic instruments to registered dental practices only. Anyone may browse this website, but pricing and ordering are limited to accounts we have verified and approved.
To register you must give us your full name, practice or clinic name, practice number and phone number. We check these details before approving an account. We may decline an application, and we may suspend or withdraw approval from an account, at our discretion — for example if the practice details cannot be verified or are no longer current.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for orders placed through your account.
Prices
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are the final, all-inclusive amount payable for the goods. Delivery is charged separately and is shown before you pay — see our Delivery Policy.
Dentiquip Rentals is not registered for VAT. We therefore do not charge VAT, no VAT is included in our prices, and we cannot issue a tax invoice reflecting VAT.
Prices are visible only once your account is approved, and may change at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price shown when you place it.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract comes into being when we confirm acceptance of your order. We may decline an order — for instance if an item is unavailable, if there has been a pricing error, or if we cannot verify your practice.
Payment
Payments are processed by Paystack. Your card details are entered on Paystack’s systems and are never stored by us or on this website.
Delivery and returns
Delivery is covered in our Delivery Policy. Returns, cancellations and refunds are covered in our Refund and Returns Policy. Both form part of these terms.
Case Consultation
The Case Consultation is a flat-fee written opinion on a single orthodontic case, given by one dental professional to another. It is not a booking, and no appointment is arranged.
After purchase you send us case photographs, radiographs and a description of the case, quoting your order number. We aim to respond within 10 working days of receiving everything we need. If the material you send is not sufficient to form a view, we will tell you what else we require, and the 10 working days runs from when we receive it.
If a case falls outside what we are able to advise on, we will tell you and refund you in full.
The consultation is professional opinion, not a diagnosis and not a treatment plan for a patient we have examined. We do not examine your patient and we do not enter into a practitioner–patient relationship with them. Clinical responsibility for the patient remains entirely with you as the treating clinician, and you must apply your own professional judgement to anything we suggest.
Liability
A Case Consultation is an opinion given to you in your capacity as the treating or referring clinician. You remain responsible for examining, diagnosing, planning and treating your patient, and for deciding whether and how to act on anything we suggest. Clinical responsibility and liability for the care of the patient rest with the referring or treating dentist, and not with Dentiquip Rentals.
We are not liable for treatment outcomes, for any loss arising from a decision you take following a consultation, or for indirect or consequential loss.
In respect of goods, our responsibility is limited to replacing or refunding an item that is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, as set out in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that the law of South Africa does not permit us to exclude or limit.
Use of this website
You may not misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it to distribute unlawful material. Content on this website belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing in them limits any right you have under South African law that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
